Dropshipping Between Two Dolibarrs
A supplier and a reseller that both run Dolibarr copy the catalogue, prices and stock by hand, type each dropship order a second time and chase the tracking numbers. DoliDropkit does it for them.
It is a Dolibarr module, installed on both Dolibarrs. The two talk to each other directly, with no server in between.
What goes where
Each company keeps working in its own Dolibarr. DoliDropkit carries what the other side needs:
| What | Direction | When |
|---|---|---|
| Catalogue: reference, label, description, prices, VAT rate, weight and dimensions, barcode, kits | Supplier to reseller | Every hour by default, or every 2, 4 or 6 hours: the changed products, and all of them once a day |
| Stock, into the reseller's warehouse for this supplier | Supplier to reseller | At the same frequency |
| A validated order, with the end customer as delivery contact | Reseller to supplier | When the reseller validates a shipment from that warehouse |
| Tracking numbers and carrier | Supplier to reseller | Every hour by default |
| Invoices and credit notes, with the payments already made | Supplier to reseller | When the reseller clicks Create the supplier invoice |
If the supplier refuses the order, or does not answer within 30 seconds, the shipment stays a draft and the reseller sees why.
Who sets up what
Each side sets up only its own Dolibarr. The supplier records the reseller as a customer, the reseller records the supplier as a supplier, and the two exchange pairing codes.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Is there a server or an ERPkit account in between?
- No. The two Dolibarrs call each other directly, each with the key of an API user that reaches only this partnership. DoliDropkit calls no ERPkit server.
- What if the supplier's Dolibarr does not answer when the reseller ships?
- After 30 seconds, the validation is refused and the shipment stays a draft, with the reason. Validate it again later.
- What happens after the 12 months?
- The module keeps working: it has no licence check. Updates and downloads stop. Buying again gives 12 more months.
